This class encompasses fusing, slumping, casting and surface decoration. Participants will gain an understanding of the basics, compatibility and annealing, the equipment necessary, preparation to and the firing procedures. A variety of processes and techniques will be explored for making vessels, tiles, sculpture and jewelry. 

This workshop is open to those with some prior experience and a desire to explore processes beyond the basics. Participants will have the opportunity to make "hot parts" with table top glory holes, model and mold making for kiln casting, silk screening on glass, manipulation for creative vessel forming and sculptural effects and much more!
